Kuwait Announces National Day Holiday for the Public Sector

Kuwait's Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced Feb. 25 and Feb. 26 as holidays for the country's National Day and Liberation Day for the public sector in Kuwait. 

The public holidays will fall on a Sunday and Monday, which will give public sector employees a long, four-day weekend to enjoy the Kuwait National Day festivities. 

The public holiday will apply to all ministries, government agencies, and public institutions. Work will resume in these institutions on Tuesday, Feb. 27. 

Citizens and residents who need to access some services of these public institutions, they should do so before the National Day holidays or after them.
