Banks in Kuwait to Have Isra wal Mi'raj Holiday on This Date

The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced that all local banks in the country will have a holiday on Thursday, Feb. 8, which will be the official public holiday for Isra wal Mi'raj. 

The holiday will give bank employees a three-day weekend to relax and enjoy with family and friends. 

The Kuwait Banking Association (KBA) elaborated that bank employees will resume work on Sunday, Feb. 11.

The Isra wal Mi'raj holiday was only announced for banks in Kuwait, the holiday dates have not been announced for the public and private sectors yet.

The Isra wal Mi'raj holiday in Kuwait will precede the Kuwait National Day and Kuwait Liberation Day holidays, which will give the people in Kuwait a long four-day weekend to celebrate and have fun!
