MoI Directs Public to Follow Guidelines for National Day Celebrations

Kuwait's Ministry of Interior (MoI) has directed citizens and expats in the country to strictly adhere to guidelines and regulations regarding the Kuwait National Day celebrations and festivities. 

The MoI has already prepared for the National Day celebrations with its comprehensive security and traffic plan to ensure the safety of the public during the National Day festivities. 

For the celebration, security and traffic awareness campaigns will be intensified so the public can maintain a safe and family-friendly atmosphere during the festivities. 

Some of the guidelines for the National Day include the following:

• Respecting Kuwait's national flag 
• Strictly adhering to public order and morals

• Avoiding littering, throwing water balloons, and spraying foam

The public in Kuwait is also advised to follow security personnel's instructions and follow safe driving practices.

In case of security, traffic, or humanitarian issues, the public is advised to call the emergency hotline (112), which is open 24/7.
