Early Sunday, Kuwait's armed forces identified several hostile drones intruding into the nation’s airspace and promptly responded in accordance with established defensive protocols, the Defense Ministry announced.

“At dawn today, the armed forces detected a number of hostile drones in Kuwaiti airspace, which were dealt with in accordance with established procedures,” stated the Army’s General Staff on X, without revealing the origin of the drones.

Kuwait has previously reported intercepting Iranian missiles and drones during times of conflict. This includes an incident on April 8, when a wave of Iranian drones targeted critical infrastructure, further highlighting the country’s ongoing vigilance against aerial threats.
