UAE Flight Disruptions Hit Kuwait and Saudi Arabia Routes

Travel schedules in the Gulf region are facing disruptions due to regional tensions. Several major airlines have cancelled or rescheduled flights to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, affecting many passengers.

Emirates, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Kuwait Airways, Jazeera Airways, and flydubai have all reported changes to their schedules. If you are planning to travel, please check your flight status before heading to the airport.

Flight Disruptions in Kuwait

Emirates

Emirates cancelled eight flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Kuwait International Airport (KWI) on Sunday.

The following flights have been cancelled:

• From Dubai to Kuwait: EK853, EK855, EK857, and EK859
• From Kuwait to Dubai: EK854, EK856, EK858, and EK860

The airline stated that these cancellations are due to operational reasons. Passengers are politely advised to contact Emirates or their booking agent for support and rebooking options.

Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways has cancelled flights EY653 and EY654 between Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport and Kuwait International Airport on July 19 and 20.

The airline is currently helping affected passengers with their travel arrangements. Guests are kindly requested to make sure their contact details are updated in their bookings to receive the latest updates via SMS or email.

Air Arabia

Air Arabia has cancelled multiple flights between the UAE and Kuwait.

The cancelled flights include:

• From Sharjah to Kuwait: G9068, G9124, and G9121
• From Kuwait to Sharjah: G9069 and G9125
• From Abu Dhabi to Kuwait (Air Arabia Abu Dhabi): 3L020 and 3L022
• From Kuwait to Abu Dhabi: 3L021

Kuwait Airways

Kuwait Airways has rescheduled most of its commercial flights after take-off and landing operations at Kuwait International Airport were temporarily paused on Saturday.

The airline kindly urges passengers to check their booking status regularly. The airline will contact affected travellers using the contact details provided during ticket purchase.

Jazeera Airways

Jazeera Airways announced that its flights have been affected by temporary closures of Kuwaiti airspace and Kuwait International Airport.

Flydubai

Flydubai cancelled flight FZ811 from Dubai to Abha on Sunday. However, flight FZ815 on the same route is still operating as scheduled.
