Kuwait Reopens Airspace After Temporary Closure

Kuwait reopened its airspace after temporarily closing it on Monday evening, June 23, following its Gulf neighbors after Iran attacked the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

Kuwait quickly closed its airspace after Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain closed their airspace because of the attack.

Iran launched 19 missiles at the air base, all of which Qatar intercepted except for one. Nonetheless, no casualties were reported. The attack was in retaliation for the US attack on Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend.

Qatar and other Arab nations condemned the attack on the airbase.
