Residency Violations Crackdown: Kuwait Arrests 289 Expats

The relentless morning and evening security campaigns, spearheaded by the General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigations, are witnessing an escalation across various regions. Kuwait has apprehended a total of 289 individuals of different nationalities across key regions.

Among the detainees are nine violators found in possession of a quantity of alcohol, 13 street vendors, and an individual discovered with materials suspected to be narcotic drugs.

The recent operations conducted by the Research and Investigation Department, the Control and Coordination Department, the Violators Follow-up Department, and the Financial and Administrative Services Department have yielded significant results in Fahaheel, Al-Mangaf, Al-Farwaniyah, Shuwaikh, Hawalli, Khaitan, Al-Hasawi, and Kabd.

Legal proceedings are swiftly underway against the violators, who will be referred to the competent authorities for further action.

The intensified security campaigns underscore the commitment of the authorities to ensure strict compliance with residency regulations and maintain public safety.
