Family Visas on Hold for Expats in Kuwait Except Certain Professions

The Ministry of Interior has yet to initiate the issuance of family visas for expatriates, excluding certain categories like doctors. This decision aligns with the ministry's strategic plan to minimize residency law violations, particularly addressing cases where individuals enter the country under specific visa categories and overstay after expiration.

Residency Law Enforcement Strategy

Under the guidance of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, the Ministry of Interior is resolute in resolving residency law violations. The approach involves comprehensive security campaigns conducted by various ministry sectors. The Residency Affairs Investigation Sector, for instance, has undertaken numerous arrests of labor law violators across all governorates since the beginning of the year, contributing to a notable reduction in residency law violators.

Ongoing Security Campaigns

The ministry emphasizes the continuation of security campaigns nationwide to arrest individuals violating residency and labor laws. This includes intensive efforts by all sectors within the Ministry of Interior to maintain control over marginal workers and law violators.
