Kuwait Arrests 248 Expats During a Massive Security Crackdown

Kuwait has arrested a total of 248 expats of various nationalities who were violating the work law and residence regulations.

This came as a result of persistent security operations targeting lawbreakers in various areas, including Farwaniya, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Khaitan, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, Al-Ahmadi, Hawally, Shuwaikh Industrial, and Al-Rai.

The accused individuals have been referred to the relevant authorities, and action will be taken against them.

The surge in the number of deportations this year can be attributed to the continued security campaigns conducted in various areas at various times to reduce the number of marginal laborers and expatriates living illegally in Kuwait.

On a separate note, three individuals were also arrested on charges of selling liquor in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. They were found in possession of a quantity of locally produced liquor bottles.
