Alojeiri Center to Launch App to Run Electricity With Solar Energy

Director General of Alojeiri Center, Youssef Alojeiri, said that the center is working to launch a mobile phone application to benefit from solar power in generating electricity for houses, farms, or even chalets as an alternative energy.

He told state-run KUNA that the application will be launched in cooperation with a Swiss company, without revealing its name. 

The application will serve citizens wishing to convert energy in their homes into solar energy. 

Alojeiri added that the Swiss company had studied Kuwait's geographical location, the angle of sun rays throughout the year, as well as the level of dust suspended in the atmosphere.

The data that the application will provide, will provide users with the  correct direction and appropriate locations when placing the solar panels, and the best way to manage their solar project.
