Kuwait, Saudi Arabia Sign a Partnership to Develop Teachers’ Skills

Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity has partnered with Saudi Arabia’s Aanab forum to launch a program on professional development for teachers in Kuwait, in cooperation with Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.

On Wednesday, the center’s director general Neda Al-Dihani stated in a press conference that the program will provide training courses in Arabic. Harvard’s professional education department helps over 16,000 education specialists globally and prepares leaders in the education field, he explained.

The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity was launched in 2010 to explore and sponsor the innovative Kuwaitis’ talents and help inventors to go creative and register their brilliant ideas.

Aanab is a licensed digital educational platform that is specialized in providing training courses and professional certificates to qualify teachers and educators for the competitive market. These training courses are provided by educational institutions in addition to offering distinguished academics and teachers.

To cooperate with Aanab, opens up new opportunities to enhance teachers’ skills in Kuwait through the usage of the best and latest standards, which benefits the students as well, said Dihani. The collaboration will also contribute to achieving the shared goal of promoting the culture of creativity and modern technology in Kuwaiti society and the development of the educational system.
