In conjunction with the expanded route list, Kuwait Airways also launched a 15 percent discount on all economy-class fares to and from Kuwait. The promotional offer is available for booking through the airline’s website, mobile app, sales offices, and call centre between January 22 and February 15, 2026, for travel scheduled from January 25 to April 30, 2026, excluding codeshare flights.
Acting Chief Executive Abdulwahab Al Shatti stated that the expansion reflects the airline’s strategy to diversify its network and enhance travel options for passengers. The phased launch of the new routes in June includes:
- Alexandria — starting June 9
- Sharm El Sheikh and Salalah — starting June 10
- Zurich — starting June 12
- Mykonos — starting June 14

Al Shatti noted that the expanded network is designed to meet demand from both leisure and business travellers and to position Kuwait Airways as a stronger regional and international connector. Enhanced flight options are expected to boost tourism links and provide more direct travel opportunities for residents and visitors.
The launch of these destinations underscores Kuwait Airways’ commitment to growing its route map and improving access to prominent cultural, leisure and economic hubs across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
