Popeyes is Coming Back to Kuwait!

The popular American multinational fast food restaurant chain Popeyes is coming back to Kuwait.

Tanmiah, the Saudi food company that runs Popeyes' Saudi Arabia branch, recently announced in a press release that they will expand in two other markets, which are Kuwait and Bahrain. 

Tanmiah signed exclusive development agreements with PLK Europe GmBH to develop and operate the Popeyes branches in the two new markets. 

Is Popeyes Coming to Kuwait for the First Time?

Popeyes was previously open in Kuwait but abruptly shut down in 2014.

Popeyes is an American multinational chain that is well-known for its delicious fried chicken.

Popeyes is also popular for its crunchy and juicy chicken sandwiches.

Popeyes was first founded in 1972 in New Orleans, Louisiana and now the restaurant chain is headquartered in Miami, Florida.

Internationally Renowned Restaurant Chains that are Coming Back to Kuwait

Other international restaurant chains that are reopening in Kuwait are Nando's, Magnolia Bakery, and Little Caesars. 

Nando's is expected to open in Kuwait in December 2023.
