Over 200K People to Travel Via the Kuwait Airport During the Eid Break

According to Eng. Saleh Al-Fadaghi, Director General of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, about 220,000 travelers are anticipated to transit through Kuwait International Airport during the Eid al-Fitr holidays.

The 2023 Eid al-Fitr holiday will be celebrated from April 20 to April 25. Approximately 1,800 flights will be operating during this time, with Dubai, Istanbul, Jeddah, Cairo, and Doha receiving the most travelers throughout the Eid break.

The Civil Aviation had planned vacation rationing for workers and leaders in supervisory positions so that those on vacation did not surpass 30% of the total staff in order to get prepared for the summer travel season. 

In order to examine all the drawbacks and find ways to prevent them in the following summer season, he said coordination meetings with several government departments and ground service providers will be arranged after Eid al-Fitr.
