Kuwait's Deputy Amir Welcomes New Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia and US

On Monday, Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah visited His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to introduce new leaders of diplomatic and consular missions in foreign countries.

During the meeting between Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince, two new chief diplomats were introduced.

These were Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who will serve as the State of Kuwait's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Nasser Al-Saud Al-Sabah, who will serve as the ambassador to the United States of America.

The new chief diplomats, Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Nasser Al-Saud Al-Sabah, were officially sworn into their new positions.

The ceremony was attended by senior state officials as well as the head of Crown Prince Diwan, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah is a Kuwaiti diplomat and businessman, appointed as Kuwait's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. He's a former undersecretary of Amiri Diwan and a KIPCO board member. He's the grandson of the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and speaks Arabic and English.

Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Nasser Al-Saud Al-Sabah is a film producer, journalist, and former undersecretary of youth affairs. She holds a journalism BS from Boston University and an MFA from the University of Southern California. She's been appointed as Kuwait's Ambassador to the United States.
