Kuwait Allows Employees to Pursue Further Studies Alongside Work

Kuwait University is now open to employees who want to pursue further studies alongside work. 

Kuwait University's Acting Secretary General Dr. Fayez Al-Dhafiri announced that employees in Kuwait will be given "permission to combine their work and studies in the light of the approval of the Council of Public Universities".

The Council approved this decision after it was made by the Civil Service Council, which allows employees to pursue further studies under the following conditions:

• The employee has to pursue these studies at his or her own expense.
• The employee is not allowed to take study leave from work.
