Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Gharib, Director of Public Relations and Media at KFF, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that all land, sea, and airport fire stations are fully staffed and on standby. Whether it’s a serious crisis or a minor issue, emergency teams are ready 24/7, 365 days a year and the public can reach them anytime through the emergency number 112.

High-Tech Gear and Rapid Response

KFF isn’t just relying on manpower. The force is equipped with cutting-edge tools, including:

  • A reconnaissance system capable of detecting hazardous chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear materials.
  • A robot for reconnaissance in hard-to-reach or dangerous areas.
  • Onboard laboratories in emergency vehicles that can analyze gases and liquids on the spot.
  • An advanced weather monitoring system to support decision-making in the field.
  • Special protective suits that allow personnel to handle toxic materials safely.
  • These high-tech features help ensure fast, accurate responses that prioritize safety and efficiency.

Accuracy Matters in a Crisis

Brig. Gen. Al-Gharib urged the public to report all emergencies immediately and not to downplay the seriousness of any incident.

“We treat all reports with full attention, regardless of how big or small they may seem,” he said.

His comments came amid heightened regional tension and misinformation spreading online. The Kuwait Army and National Guard also issued statements reassuring the public that recent reports of missiles over Kuwait are false and that no aerial operations are underway.

Trust Official Sources

Kuwait’s Minister of Information, Abulrahman Al-Mutairi, also stressed the importance of relying on official spokespersons during crises to avoid the spread of rumors and ensure transparency.

In an increasingly volatile region, Kuwait Fire Force stands as a reliable and responsive pillar of safety, always on duty to protect the public, no matter the hour.
