Fire in Jleeb Al Shuyoukh Kills Three People

A fire at a house in Jleeb Al Shuyoukh broke out on Thursday night, June 1st, which killed three residents. 

The media department of the Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) identified the deceased to be of Asian nationality, in a statement on Twitter. 

The statement also explained that the firefighters were not able to save the deceased because they were impeded by various doors and iron bars that trapped the deceased in the rooms of the house.

The KFF have requested owners of residential buildings and units to not convert these buildings for other purposes such as commercial or storage purposes and to remove partitions like iron bars, which can endanger the safety and lives of residents.
