Kuwait reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their fight to reclaim their legitimate rights. The statement emphasized that these rights are clearly defined by UN resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, most importantly, the right to establish an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The statement also renewed Kuwait’s call for the UN Security Council to take firm action in upholding international peace and protecting global legitimacy.

Kuwait’s firm stance comes at a time when tensions in the region continue to rise, as Israel's controversial settlement policies draw criticism from countries and human rights organizations around the world.
