Kuwaiti security forces say they’ve foiled a possible terror attack before it could even start. An Arab expatriate was arrested after officials accused him of plotting to target places of worship.

Raid Uncovers Explosives and Manuals

During a raid at the suspect’s home, investigators reportedly found explosive-making devices and detailed instruction manuals. Authorities described the move as a “pre-emptive strike” to keep the country safe.

Suspect Allegedly Linked to ISIS

Officials haven’t named the suspect, but Kuwaiti newspaper Al Qabas reported he’s an Egyptian with alleged ties to ISIS. Security forces had been tracking him for some time before the arrest.

Ministry Vows Zero Tolerance

The Ministry of Interior said this operation shows their “continuous vigilance” and warned they won’t tolerate any attempt to threaten the safety of Kuwait’s citizens or residents.
