Camping Season in Kuwait Begins on This Date

You can start planning your exciting camping trips because Kuwait's camping season will begin on Nov. 15, 2023, and it will run until Mar. 15, 2024.

The Kuwait Municipality has launched a campaign regarding the set of spring camps with the slogan "The camp is yours and the righteousness is for your family, preserve it".

The campaign aims to raise awareness among the people of Kuwait about permitted camping areas. 

A committee has approved the updating of camping sites and identified 15 camping locations. 

There are eight camping sites in the northern mainland areas and seven sites in the southern areas. 

Camping is prohibited outside of these camping sites. 

A person or a group of people interested in camping can reserve and issue a camp license, which can be done through the municipality's official website.

People who want to go camping have to pay a fee of KD 50 and a deposit of KD 100 to acquire a temporary license and space on the camping site. 

The municipality's campaign will also aim to raise awareness of maintaining cleanliness and not harming the environment or wildlife at these camping sites.
