Kuwait's Green Island Season Kicks Off

The Green Island Season in Kuwait started on Sunday, February 12th, at 3 p.m., with activities meeting the tastes of all residents of all age groups. 

The season -- which includes carnival games, shopping, and retail destinations -- is scheduled to extend for around three months. 

Entry is free for children under 4 years, and for KWD 2.5 for children over 5 years and adults.  The season opens from 3-11 p.m. from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday.

Green Island is a man-made island in Kuwait where families and children can spend time together. It was established as part of the green waterfront project in Kuwait in 1988.
