Restaurants and Cafes to Close in These Areas by 1 am

Restaurants and cafés located inside the Al-Qurain Market, Al-Ardiya Industrial Area, and the handicraft areas will close at one in the morning per an administrative decision made by the Director General of the Kuwait Municipality.

Al-Qabas Daily reported that according to the decision, all businesses with locations in the craft zones are required to close their shutters at 1:00 am in the morning.

According to the decision, a new article No. 2 bis about setting the operating hours of stores located in private housing areas must be added to Administrative Resolution No. 3212/2022 GM.

“The working hours of shops located in craft areas are determined until one in the morning maximum, direct sales are not allowed."

All relevant authorities and sectors are instructed to begin carrying out the decision 30 days after the date it was published in the Official Gazette.
