New Changes Have Been Implemented for Kuwaitis' Regular Visa for Egypt

The Head of the Egyptian Consular Mission Ambassador Heba Zaki announced that new regulations have been implemented for visas and rules of entry for foreigners travelling to Egypt, which were made effective from April 15th, 2023. 

GCC nationals including Kuwaiti nationals can travel to Egypt with a regular visa issued before travel from the consulates or upon arrival in Egypt. 

The new regulations also facilitate travel of foreigners from other nationalities including Syrians, Iraqis, Chinese, and Turks. 

The benefits and exceptions of the new regulations will not be applicable to companions of visa holders from the nationalities included in the new decision. 

Syrians who hold valid visas from countries including the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and the Schengen area, or those who have valid residency in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries can enter Egypt on emergency visas through ports without escorts.
