Kuwait Hosts 15th Annual 'Girgian of our Minors' Celebration

The Public Authority for Minors Affairs in Kuwait continues its tradition of fostering joy and inclusion with the successful hosting of the 15th annual "Girgian of our Minors" event. Dedicated to ensuring the participation of all children, including those without guardians, the lively celebration is a testament to the authority's commitment to Kuwait's youth.

Approximately 700 attendees, including children without guardians, gathered for the spirited festivities of the "Girgian of our Minors" event. Filled with energy and enthusiasm, participants engaged in spirited competitions, indulged in sweet treats, and immersed themselves in engaging heritage games, creating cherished memories along the way.

Hamad Al-Barjas, Acting Director General of the Authority, reiterated the organization's commitment to hosting such celebrations, emphasizing the meticulous attention to detail in meeting the diverse needs of the children under its care. Al-Barjas underscored the importance of connecting younger generations with Kuwait's cultural heritage to instill a sense of national pride and identity.

Tamader Al-Omar, head of the social and educational department at the authority, highlighted ongoing efforts to support children who have lost their fathers, recognizing the emotional challenges they face. Al-Omar emphasized the authority's dedication to standing by the side of every child, striving to fulfill their needs and create meaningful experiences despite the challenges they may encounter.
