According to a statement released by the Kuwaiti army, Kuwait has recently finalized a deal worth $367 million with Baykar, a Turkish defense company, to purchase TB2 drones. The contract was established through direct negotiations between the governments of Kuwait and Turkey.

The Kuwaiti army's statement did not specify details regarding the number of drones to be delivered to Kuwait or the timeline for their delivery.

The interest in purchasing these drones grew stronger after the Ukrainian military successfully utilized them to counter Russian forces.

The State of Kuwait would be the 28th country in the world to conclude a contract for the Bayraktar TB2 drones.
