Early Friday, Kuwait Petroleum Company reported a fire at its Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery after drones targeted several operational units.
This marks the second drone strike on the refinery in just two days, according to the state news agency KUNA.
Fire under control
The attack caused fires in multiple units, but initial assessments confirmed no casualties or injuries. Firefighting and emergency teams responded swiftly to contain the blaze.
Some refinery units were temporarily shut down, and precautionary measures were implemented to ensure worker safety while investigations continue.
