A fire broke out at Kuwait Airport after a drone attack targeted a fuel tank, authorities confirmed.
The incident triggered multiple fires across different locations, as emergency teams rushed to contain the situation.
Fuel tank hit, fire quickly spreads
According to Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Ghareeb, spokesperson for the General Fire Force, the blaze started after a fuel tank at the airport was struck by hostile drones.
The impact caused fires to break out, with shrapnel falling into nearby areas.
Four fire sites handled
Authorities reported dealing with four separate fires linked to the attack. These were caused by debris and shrapnel scattered across different locations.
Emergency crews responded immediately and worked to control the situation.
Dozens of incidents recorded
Since the escalation, officials have logged 82 related reports tied to what was described as ongoing aggression.
Response teams remain on alert as they continue to monitor and manage any new incidents.
