Kuwait's Spectacular Fireworks Conclude National Day Celebrations

A dazzling light and drone show, followed by marvellous fireworks took place at Kuwait Towers to mark the end of the month-long celebrations of Kuwait's National Day on Tuesday.

Thousands of spectators gathered at the Arabian Gulf Road to witness the show. Buses had been arranged to transport people from designated parking lots to the celebration areas near Kuwait Towers from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The light and drone show depicted various aspects of Kuwait's heritage and culture and they also displayed effigies of the country's iconic leaders.
The Arabian Gulf Road was partly closed from Second Ring Road Intersection to the British Embassy intersection from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the show.
