Kuwait Deploys Its Seventh Relief Plane to Sudan

The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) announced on Sunday that the seventh relief aid plane, carrying 10 tons of relief aid, has departed Kuwait on its way to Sudan.

According to Khaled Al-Zaid, the KRCS's head of public relations and media, the campaign will hopefully relief the Sudanese people's suffering and aid them during their hardship.

He confirmed that the relief aid operation would keep the air bridge between Kuwait and Sudan open to ensure the arrival of much-needed supplies.

This move comes within the framework of Kuwait's support for the Sudanese people amid the ongoing fighting.

The Gulf country has established an air bridge to Sudan to send urgent humanitarian and relief aid for five days ending today, May 8th.
