His Highness Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has re-appointed Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Sabah as prime minister following parliamentary elections earlier this month.
Kuwait's crown prince asked Sheikh Ahmad to nominate a cabinet, state news agency KUNA reported.
The Prime Minister's previous government resigned after opposition lawmakers won a majority in the parliamentary elections.
Opposition lawmakers won 29 of the legislature's 50 seats, according to results published by the Kuwait News Agency.
