Kuwait's recent political developments have led to the formation of a new government, intiatited by Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. This new cabinet, consisting of 13 ministers, was introduced under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah, signifying a positive step forward for the nation.

In an effort to ensure a smooth transition following the unfortunate passing of Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah on December 16, 2023, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah issued a decree confirming Sheikh Mohammed Al Salem as the esteemed Prime Minister. This historic decision sets the tone for a fresh governmental approach as Kuwait gets ready to open up a new chapter.

The newly appointed ministers are highly accomplished individuals with a variety of portfolios and expertise unde their belts. Some notable figures include Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah, who will serve as the Deputy Prime Minister and acting Minister of Defence and Interior, and Imad Mohammed Al Atiqi, who will fulfill the role of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil.

Other distinguished ministers include Abdul Rahman Baddah Al Motairi as the Minister of Information and Culture, Ahmad Abdul Wahhab Al Awadi as the Minister of Health, and Anwar Ali Al Mudhaf as the Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, among others.
