The British Embassy clarified there is no formal travel warning for Kuwait, though it advised British nationals to stay alert due to the potential for sudden escalation. It emphasized that no trip is guaranteed to be fully safe given the current instability in the region.
Iran Warns Against Gulf Escalation
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a strong warning against expanding the conflict into the Gulf, describing such a move as a “grave strategic mistake.” Iran maintained that its response to Israeli attacks was self-defense and that it does not seek broader confrontation, unless provoked.
What This Means for Kuwait
Despite the regional chaos, Kuwait is taking a calm and calculated approach. Emergency systems are activated, services are running smoothly, and food and telecom supplies are being secured. Citizens and residents are urged to stay informed through official channels and follow government guidance as the situation evolves.
