Kuwait's Ministry of Interior (MoI) recently announced that installing a flag post on a vehicle is considered a violation of the traffic law.
This announcement comes days before Kuwait's National Day and Liberation Day celebrations.
The interior ministry has warned the public that the police will take action against such a violation during the National Day celebrations.
The installation of a flag post has probably been prohibited to avoid mistreatment of the Kuwaiti national flag and out of respect for it.
Other than prohibiting the installation of the flag post on one's vehicle, the authorities recently prohibited the use of water balloons, foam sprays, and streamers during the National Day festivities.
Other than these prohibitions, the Interior Ministry has also directed the public to avoid littering the streets at all costs.
