Kuwait Airways will start direct flights to Phuket, Thailand, from October 27. This new route will connect Kuwait with one of Southeast Asia’s most popular holiday spots.

The national carrier will operate two flights a week, on Tuesday and Saturday. Bookings for the new service will open on Tuesday, according to Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulwahab Al Shatti, as reported by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

This Phuket route is part of Kuwait Airways’ plan to grow its network and give passengers more direct travel choices, especially to places with rising demand.

Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and a top tourism destination. It is known for its beaches, resorts, and natural beauty. The new non-stop flight will make travel between Kuwait and Phuket easier by removing the need for connecting flights.

The route is also expected to support tourism and travel links between Kuwait and Thailand. It will give travellers from Kuwait better access to Phuket and improve connectivity between the two markets.

Al Shatti said Kuwait Airways will continue to expand its network and add new destinations as the airline works to strengthen its position in regional and international aviation markets. The carrier is also focusing on improving services based on passenger demand and offering travellers more destination choices.

This launch will add a new direct connection between Kuwait and Phuket, bringing another leisure destination to Kuwait Airways’ growing international network.
