Several Passengers Injured on Air India Flight to Sydney

An Air India flight that was bound for Sydney, Australia on Tuesday, May 16th suffered severe turbulence, injuring many passengers on board. 

The flight AAI-302 encountered a zone of turbulent weather, according to a senior Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) official.

The passengers sustained minor injuries such as cuts, bruises, and sprains and the cabin crew attended to them and ensured their safety.  

The flight had departed from New Delhi, India. Upon the flight's arrival at the airport in Sydney, medical assistance, including first aid,  was immediately provided to the injured passengers. 

None of the passengers were hospitalized.
