Abdullah Al Rajhi, the DGCA's official spokesperson, confirmed that during the flight to Kuwait, a report was received alleging there was a bomb on board. The report was taken seriously, and airport authorities acted immediately in line with established security procedures.

"Thanks to close coordination with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior and other relevant authorities, the plane landed safely," Al Rajhi said, as reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Security teams swiftly carried out the necessary checks. All passengers were safely evacuated and directed to an isolated lounge as part of standard safety measures. Officials confirmed that there were no injuries or disturbances during the incident.

Importantly, the DGCA reassured travelers that flight operations at Kuwait International Airport remained unaffected, with all other scheduled flights continuing as planned.

Authorities later confirmed that the bomb report was false, and the situation was handled efficiently without disruption to overall airport activity.
