According to the seismic network, the tremor was detected in the Al Manaqeesh area at precisely 1:27 PM local time. The quake originated from a depth of 5 kilometers beneath the surface, highlighting the volatile nature of the region’s underground activity.

This is not the first seismic disturbance to hit Al Manaqeesh. The same area experienced a smaller earthquake in March 2025, measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale. Such recurring tremors emphasize the need for heightened vigilance and preparedness in this southwestern region.
