Claire Le Flécher, the French Ambassador to Kuwait, reported that France continues to be a popular destination for Kuwaiti travelers. In 2023, the French consulate processed nearly 42,000 visa applications, with 8,000 applications received in the first three months of 2024.
The ambassador noted that the strong interest in France is a sign of the solid cultural and economic ties between the two countries. This preference demonstrates the long-standing friendship between Kuwait and France.
