Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has confirmed the limit as part of its ongoing efforts to regulate traffic and vehicle ownership across the country.

Three Vehicles, No Exceptions

According to traffic authorities, the three-vehicle cap applies to all types of personal vehicles, including cars, pickup trucks, and motorcycles. The rule is about total ownership, not vehicle type—so mixing and matching still counts toward the same limit.

Renewals Are Still Allowed

Expats who already own vehicles can continue renewing their registrations, as long as the total number does not exceed three. However, registering any additional vehicle beyond the cap will not be approved.
