The Al-Ojairi Scientific Center announced on Saturday that temperatures are expected to drop starting on August 24, which is in line with the beginning of the Shail star season.
In Kuwait, meteorologists have traditionally marked the start of the season with the sighting of the Canopus star in the sky, referred to locally as 'Shail'. This period marks the transition away from intense heat as the weather gradually shifts to a more moderate state.

The weather will be moderate especially at night, while the maximum temperature drops below 50 C degrees. The season, which ends on October 14, is also known for its high humidity and the possibility of scattered rain.
