How often do you get to see a sheikh swimming with sharks? Not that often, but it is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed!
Sheikh Hamdan is known for his adventures and sharing them with the world, well with his 6.5 million Instagram followers. We have seen sky diving over the Palm, climbing the top of the Burj Khalifa, doing the zip line to name a few of these adventures.
This time, Sheikh Hamdan posted eye-catching video and his very own whale shark selfie, of his experience swimming with giant sharks on his official Instagram account.
The impressive pictures come as the Dicovery Channel toasts the 30th anniversary of its annual Shark Week.
The event, which kicked off on Sunday, screens in more than 70 countries every year – and this year it celebrates its 30th anniversary on screen.

Sheikh Hamdan was delighted to get in on the action.
On his Instagram account, the Crown Prince wrote: "Swimming with these giant sharks is truly a breathtaking experience, one that is difficult to put into words. The more we swim with these creatures, the more we understand, respect and appreciate them."
