Finally, a statistic issued by the Community Development Authority in Dubai revealed that 57 elderly people registered in the Authority’s system are centenarians over the age of 100, an increase of more than 119% over the number registered in 2020, which is 26 centenarians.
The statistics showed that among the centenarians, there are 48 citizens, 43% of whom enjoy stable health conditions, and do not need intensive or specialized home care.
It is noteworthy that the Authority provides home health and psychological care services for citizens who cannot go to clinics and hospitals for periodic follow-up and treatment.
