Emergency crews battled a big heathland blaze in Hampshire’s New Forest, after a vehicle blaze sped off into protected ground, from somewhere near the road. Firefighters said the dry conditions were pretty rough, and emergency services logged more than 160 calls about the initial outbreak, all around the A31 highway.
