The third annual conference of the Emirates Oncology Society announced the availability of a new drug for the treatment of breast cancer in the country, called “Enhertu”, after its approval by the Ministry of Health and Preventions and the US Food and Drug Administration. It benefits about 60% of patients with the disease in its advanced stages.
The new drug for the treatment of breast cancer was made available in the country as the first country in the Middle East and North Africa to adopt this medical drug, confirming the leadership of the UAE.
