The Kuwait Meteorological Department predicted light rainfall to affect Kuwait on Monday, January 30th, and continue until Wednesday morning, February 1st.

The department expected rainfall to gradually increase on Tuesday, January 31st, peaking in the afternoon.
The expected rainfall in the country comes as a result of the extension of a surface depression accompanied by a moist air mass that coincides with an atmospheric depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
From Tuesday through Wednesday, active to strong winds are forecasted, with a speed of over 70 kilometers per hour, leading to turbulent waves, with waves rising to 8 feet.
