The BeAware Bahrain mobile app has been updated by the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA). Passports, birth certificates, CPR, driver's licenses, and ownership papers in electronic form will all be stored in the all-in-one app.

This is part of the strategy to turn the app into a digital wallet where all of a person's important personal documents would be kept digitally. They will replace paper copies and be legally recognized 'everywhere',  including the health-related features 'My Medical Appointments' and 'My Health Cards.'

Along with a number of other features that people use often and are important to them, the My Health Cards feature also offers facts and information about the Covid-19 immunization record. Official organizations must accept and validate electronic documents through QR codes.

The application saves time and effort for business users by allowing them to finish and follow up on transactions with multiple key governmental organizations through a single, simple, and convenient platform.

Future releases of the BeAware App from the Authority will provide a variety of additional features and important services.
