Kuwait: Women Now Allowed to Volunteer for Military Service
Registration will be open for three days.

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced on Thursday, May 1, that female applicants holding 11th-grade science or literature certificates will be eligible to apply for military service from Sunday, May 4.
Interested individuals can apply through the recruitment link on the Ministry of Defence's website.
Registration will be open for three days from May 4.
Women in Kuwait were first permitted to join the military in 2021, but the recruitment was limited to civilian roles including medical and support services.
With this new decision, the Kuwaiti army is ready to allow to expand the roles that women can work in the military for.
