Breakups do not all feel the same. There are occasions of potential silent acceptance termination of some relationships and sometimes an emotional wound that remains months or even years. The agony of heartbreak does not solely correspond to the duration of the relationship but to emotional investment in a relationship, the type of attachment one had, shared dreams, and unfulfilled expectations. Once love is a part of your self, losing love may be like losing a part of yourself. The pain may manifest itself as anxiety, sadness, anger or even physical fatigue. Knowing why some of the relationships end worse than others makes you be conscious of how the grief is processed rather than thinking that you are over emotional.
