As temperatures soar this summer, Brits are switching up their purchases and food choices. The latest Worldpanel data reveals consumers moving towards chilled sides, picnic foods, ice cream, sorbet and frozen fruit. Ice cream and sorbet sales grew 26.1% in four weeks to 9 August 2026, while frozen fruit sales increased 48.1% year on year.
